The ECNL Events Manager is a full time position based out of the ECNL office in Richmond, VA. The Events Manager will perform day-to-day operational tasks focused on program management, event and inventory support, and additional duties as assigned by the Director of Events. The Events Manager will report to the Director of Events. Specific job requirements include:

Event Management: Plan and execute events that are best in class in youth sports, with complete professionalism, branding, and atmosphere to inspire players, coaches, clubs and families, and that provide a seamless and friendly user experience.

ECNL Boys Showcase Events

Act as the primary on-site administrator for all ECNL Events
Liaise with local facility contacts to ensure a best-in-class events
Manage internal and external communications to membership, partners, and other relevant parties
Manage and support on-site volunteers
Manage and support athletic trainers on-site
Manage & support ECNL event operations team onsite
Tracking and budgeting of event related expenses
Source and manage travel of ECNL event support staff
Manager all event printing and materials needs
Create Operations footprint map and ECNL footprint for each event and assist Event Operations team in execution
Manage all-event related shipments to and from events
On-site support of ECNL Girls events as needed
Other duties as assigned

Product Inventory:
Manage inventory & distribution of necessary product for all Showcase Events

Qualifications:

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
Must have highly refined abilities in time management, organization and administration
Must have a working knowledge of computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience and a working knowledge of youth soccer a plus
Must be available for significant travel

Additional Information: Be a supportive teammate to help in general league-wide tasks as requested by the ECNL Director of Events or others, and assist in teammates accomplishment of their tasks.

The ECNL will provide a smart phone and will pay for the monthly service and data plan associated with the phone.
The ECNL will provide a laptop computer which will be utilized for all work duties.
401(k) after one year of employment with a percentage contribution from the league.
