This position will oversee a team of employees and interns.

Big Time Softball is looking for a marketing leader that is highly attentive to detail, works well on tight deadlines and is prioritize workload for themselves and 1-2 other people. This position requires a leader that is comfortable adjusting plans in a business where items can be added or adjusted frequently and have a high level of accountability for themselves and their team as well as being comfortable providing in the moment feedback in order to meet goals and move the team forward. A familiarity with adobe suite, graphic design, social media trends and platforms is required. A softball background is helpful but not required.

Main objectives:
- Meet with Leadership team to be aligned on the overall company vision and translate it into creating long terms and short term goals 
- Break goals down into actionable items and outline steps to achieve them 
- Translate the goals into specific marketing campaigns (4-8 week campaigns highlighting key aspects of the business). These should line up with seasons (high school season- rankings etc., Metrics and TSDs- when does it make sense to promote TSDs to be able to book them out etc.)
- Merge all campaigns, event promotion, etc. into a balanced content calendar to be followed by marketing team outlining type of content, platforms to be posted on.
- Create specific, detailed, and thorough marketing plans for marquis events. Work with (potential) content creator and marketing team members to give direction for specific content to be obtained to meet the needs of the content calendar 
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly check ins with marketing team to ensure that all content going out is posted on the right platform, on time, and is following company guidelines for branding.
- Ensure that captions and verbiage is on brand.
  • Follow up with people reaching out via social media and either responding or directing them to another member of the team that can answer their questions
Additional job requirements 
  • May need to attend 3-5 events/year for insight into the business/operations/support
  • Draw up a monthly insight report on social media interactions/followers/views 
  • Present leadership team with goal plans and progress updates
