We are seeking reliable and energetic Event Fan Shop Staff to support merchandise operations during the Baseball World Series – Texas tournament. This is a temporary, event-specific role from June 23-28, 2026, based in Houston, TX. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering a great tournament experience by assisting with on-site merchandise sales and fan engagement throughout the event.

Fan Shop Staff will help manage daily merchandise operations, including fan shop setup and breakdown, assisting customers, processing sales transactions through Square POS, handling cash, card, and digital/mobile payments, maintaining organized inventory, and ensuring the merchandise area remains clean and welcoming. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced tournament environment while interacting with players, families, and spectators.

Compensation: $220/day

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with fan shop setup and breakdown, including unloading, stocking, and packing merchandise.
  • Process sales accurately using Square POS (cash, credit/debit, mobile payments).
  • Follow proper cash-handling procedures, including till counts and reconciliation.
  • Stock, organize, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Assist with inventory counts and report low stock or discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service to fans.
  • Follow all company policies, venue rules, and supervisor instructions.

Qualifications
  • Reliable transportation to tournament venues.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Previous retail, cash-handling, or event experience preferred (not required).

Schedule Expectations
  • Ability to work 6 consecutive days, approximately 12 hours per day.
  • Must be available for and commit to the full duration of the event once scheduled.
  • Shifts may include early mornings, nights, and weekends.
  • Staff are expected to remain through assigned setup and breakdown shifts.

Teams will compete across elite synthetic turf facilities, delivering a high-quality championship experience for players, coaches, and families.
