NO HATE HIGH SCHOOL TOUR

Emcee and Tour Manager for Bullying Prevention Action Sports High School Tour

ASA Entertainment has been a leader in action sports event and television production since 1994.  Our company develops, manages and executes over 250 event days and television programs annually in skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding, surfing and freestyle motocross.  Our events range from large-scale nationally televised pro competitions to smaller grassroots contests, exhibitions and mobile tours.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced emcee and tour manager for our Bullying Prevention Action Sports High School Tour (The No Hate Tour).  This person will travel with the Tour’s team of athletes to cities across the United States and announce daily BMX box-jump and quarter-pipe shows featuring top X Games pros as part of school-sanctioned assembly programs.  The emcee will deliver key facts and statistics about bullying prevention to high school students during the performances and relay stories about hope, optimism and the importance of supporting each other.  This person will also book travel, manage the athletes on the road, serve as the liaison with the high schools, and drive the tour’s truck and trailer to and from each school and between tour markets.

The ideal candidate is a responsible, motivated, dedicated, proactive, reliable, highly-professional, relatable and energized emcee who can engage a crowd of high school students and has a minimum of 3 years experience in announcing events and mobile tours.  Someone with an interest in BMX or other action sports is a plus as the Tour revolves around daily action sports performances as the focus of this important cause-related program.  A current driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

The upcoming tour runs from September 2 – November 22 and will visit 60 schools in 12 markets in the Southeast, Midwest and Northeast.  The tour has been running for 25 years, so opportunities for year-round work exist for candidates that excel.

Please email a cover letter, an emcee reel and resume to [email protected].
