ASA Entertainment has been a leader in action sports event and television production since 1994. Our company develops, manages and executes more than 250 events and television programs annually in skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding, surfing, freestyle motocross and music. Our events range from large-scale nationally televised competitions to smaller grassroots contests, exhibitions and mobile tours.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

ASA Entertainment offers internship opportunities for individuals interested in seeking valuable hands-on work experience in the sports and event industries. Typically, interns are with the company for six months in order to work on three large-scale, purpose-driven sports and music festivals from concept to execution. ASA works to tailor each intern’s experience to the interests and skills of the individual, positioned against the needs of the company. Day-to-day, each intern has the opportunity to work with almost every aspect of ASA. 

Currently, we are looking for interns to play a role in the planning and execution of the Super Girl Surf Festival Series and the ASA No Hate High School Tour.  The Super Girl events take place in the Fall in San Diego, Virginia Beach and Jacksonville respectively, and the No Hate High School Tour runs year-round.  Information can be found at http://supergirlpro.com and https://nohatetour.com

Interns typically work on a variety of tasks / projects that may include:
-       Social media strategy / execution
-       Video editing and content creation
-       Website development and editing (via WordPress)
-       Business development / sales / event booking
-       Presentation development
-       Athlete / sponsor / venue servicing
-       Research
-       Event operations / production / planning
-       Marketing and public relations

Candidates should indicate which areas most interest them within their applications.

COMMITMENT AND TIMING

Please take into consideration that the dates below are approximate. Based on an individual’s availability, internships can begin or end before or after the dates indicated below; however, the intern must be available through mid-November to attend and work on the three Super Girl Festivals.  Interns are at the office on a full-time basis during the program.  

Summer/Fall 2026 (May 11 - November 20)

QUALIFICATIONS

Both existing students and graduates are encouraged to apply as it is a very hands-on experience.

-       Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-       Proficient in Photoshop, AI, Canva or other graphic design programs a plus
-       Proficient in Final Cut, Premiere or other video editing software a large plus
-       Sales experience / interest a plus 
-       Highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills
-       Inquisitive and proactive learner
-       Well-organized with the ability to multi-task
-       Enrolled in or graduated from an accredited four-year college, university, or graduate school
