Position Overview

The Director of Partnerships is responsible for the continued growth of Optimal Ticketing’s portfolio of clients within the sports and entertainment industry. Through leadership, strong relationships and industry knowledge the Director of Partnerships will provide solutions for teams to maximize revenue and boost attendance. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely in the sports industry, reporting to the Vice President of Business Development and collaborating closely with the Chief Revenue Officer. Your contributions will play a key role in the future success of Optimal Ticketing.

Position Responsibilities

Lead Account Management team
Provide solutions for Partners to maximize ticket revenue and boost attendance
Conduct outreach with existing Partners through phone calls, emails, virtual and in-person meetings
Network with and seek referrals from existing Partners
Manage the transition of new clients to the Account Management Team and provide pricing strategies and recommendations
Execute sales and renewal campaigns and assist account management, operations, and customer service efforts
Be a leader within this Sports and Entertainment industry with knowledge of venues, regions, trends, and pricing strategies
Attend conferences and visit partners on behalf of Optimal Ticketing
Setting and consistently achieving team metrics and objectives

Position Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a team leader with a solid understanding of management practices
Strong business acumen and a comprehensive grasp of key principles in the ticket industry
Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
A strong work ethic, a sense of ownership, and the ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Experience

Degree in business, sports management, or related field
Minimum 10+ years of sales/account management within the sports industry
Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience
Setting team goals and key performance indicator objectives
Familiarity with CRM/Salesforce
Strong experience in strategic management, planning & execution
