Overview:
The Vegas Golden Knights have set the standard for professional sports in Las Vegas and we are looking for the best and brightest to join the Ticketing team as we continue to raise the bar. We are currently seeking experienced candidates for the role of Account Executive, Membership Services.
An Account Executive, Membership Services is directly responsible for all revenue goals associated with an assigned account base of existing Season Ticket Members, with a priority on renewals and retention. This is achieved by providing world-class service, learning about and developing excellent relationships with Members and delivering customized communications, events and programs. Please note this is a Sales and Service position, as generating new business through referrals, add-ons and upgrades will also be an important part of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Improve year-over-year Season Ticket Member (STM) satisfaction
- Successfully meet and exceed quantitative retention and associated revenue goals by offering benefits, fostering Season Ticket Member loyalty, and creating lifelong memories
- Build strong rapport with assigned account base through proactive communication, including seat and office visits, phone calls, emails and other touchpoints
- Present oneself as the key go-to-person for assigned account base
- Sell upgrades, add-ons, and referrals
- Make a minimum of 40-50 outbound calls per day
- Proactively respond to and resolve all customer requests, and inquiries from assigned account base.
- Ensure STM information and data are accurate and complete for assigned accounts
- Assist in developing and delivering customized benefits, programs and events to drive loyalty within assigned account base
- Assist in arranging Special Events such as STM Skating Events, Happy Hours, Viewing Parties, Focus Groups, etc. Includes sending invitations and tracking RSVPs as well as planning of event set up
- In addition to traditional business hours, the ability to work all Golden Knights home games, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolutions skills
- A positive and resilient team centric attitude with a professional demeanor
- Advanced time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with clients and colleagues
- Friendly attitude and initiative to work well with other departments to enhance the member experience
- Working knowledge of a ticketing system
- Previous experience with a CRM system (SalesForce, Microsoft CRM, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/sales/marketing/sports management or similar concentration required
- Minimum of 2-3 years ticket sales/service experience, preferably in sports/entertainment, required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation
- Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- Manual dexterity for typing, filing, and operating office equipment
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, and written materials
- Hearing ability to participate in meetings and telephone conversations
- Ability to travel occasionally as required by business needs
Work Environment:
- Primary work location in modern office environment with standard office equipment
- Regular exposure to arena/venue environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and crowd conditions
- Frequent attendance at games, events, and entertainment functions in fast-paced, high-energy settings
- Exposure to outdoor elements when traveling between venues or attending outdoor events
- Work schedule includes regular evening and weekend hours during hockey season and special events
- High-pressure environment with tight deadlines and multiple competing priorities
- Professional business environment requiring executive presence and professional attire
- May be exposed to loud music, crowd noise, and bright lighting during events and games
