Position Summary:
The Vegas Golden Knights are seeking a visionary, strategic, and commercially driven Senior Vice President (SVP) Revenue to lead all revenue-generating functions across the Vegas Golden Knights organization and its affiliated sports properties: Henderson Silver Knights (AHL), Vegas Knight Hawks (IFL), City National Arena, American First Center, Lee’s Family Forum and T-Mobile Arena.

This senior executive will oversee and drive integrated revenue strategies spanning:
  • Sponsorship Sales and Activation
  • All ancillary businesses, including merchandise, special events, non-game day venue rentals, and emerging ventures.
  • Strategic Revenue Innovation – Identify and capitalize on untapped market opportunities

As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, the SVP will directly influence the commercial success and long-term financial sustainability of our entire sports and entertainment platform across all teams and venues. This is a hands-on, player-coach role requiring active participation in high-stakes negotiations and personal ownership of strategic accounts. This is a unique opportunity to lead the business side of a growing sports and entertainment platform in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Organizational Revenue Strategy
  • Develop and execute a cohesive, enterprise-wide revenue strategy for the Vegas Golden Knights, Henderson Silver Knights (AHL), Vegas Knight Hawks (IFL), City National Arena, American First Center, Lee’s Family Forum, T-Mobile Arena and any future facilities the organization develops in the region.
  • Align all commercial functions under a unified vision that maximizes synergies across teams, venues, stakeholder groups and audiences.
  • Drive pricing strategies and revenue optimization initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with the President and Executive Leadership team to support long-term business planning and financial forecasting.

Corporate Partnerships (Sponsorship Sales & Activation)
  • Personally lead and close high-value, complex partnership deals with major corporate accounts across local, regional, national and global markets
  • Directly negotiate terms, pricing, and contract structures for transformational and strategic partnerships
  • Lead partnership strategy and execution across all teams and venues, including acquisition, retention, and growth of high-value corporate partners – including those in local, regional, national and global markets.
  • Design innovative, customized sponsorship packages that leverage assets across the VGK brand ecosystem — including in-arena, digital, broadcast, and community platforms.
  • Develop new partnership categories and revenue models. 
  • Oversee activation and partner servicing to ensure exceptional delivery and measurable ROI.

Ancillary Revenue Development
  • Drive direct sales efforts for premium venue rentals, special events, and high-profile third-party activations
  • Expand other related revenue streams such as merchandise, licensed products, venue rentals, third-party events, and content monetization.
  • Explore new business lines and fan engagement models that align with the brand and Las Vegas’ entertainment-first culture.
  • Oversee cross-functional collaboration to enhance retail, digital commerce, experiential initiatives and future facility builds.

Leadership & Culture
  • Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing, cross-functional revenue team spanning multiple verticals and properties.
  • Model excellence in sales execution by maintaining an active deal pipeline and serving as lead negotiator on marquee partnerships.
  • Mentor emerging leaders and develop succession planning. 
  • Foster a results-oriented, collaborative culture focused on accountability, innovation, and growth.
  •  Represent the organization with key external stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, media, and community leaders.

Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in sports, entertainment, or a comparable consumer-facing industry with a strong commercial focus.
  • Demonstrated track record of personally closing seven- and eight-figure deals
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven success in developing and executing multi-vertical revenue strategies (i.e., sponsorship, premium, ticketing, and ancillary).
  • Deep understanding of the Las Vegas market and its entertainment-driven dynamics, tourism economy, and hospitality landscape, while also strategizing national and global outreach.
  • Experience working across multiple sports teams and properties or brands is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated expertise in CRM systems, sales technology, pricing models, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to structure and close complex, multi-year agreements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during meetings, events, and venue tours
  • Travel may be required

  • Capacity to navigate multi-level venue facilities, including stairs and various event spaces
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds (presentation materials, marketing collateral, etc.)
  • Visual acuity sufficient to review financial documents, contracts, and presentation materials
  • Manual dexterity required for computer use, document handling, and electronic device operation

Work Environment:
  • Primary work location in modern office environment with standard office equipment
  • Regular exposure to arena/venue environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and crowd conditions
  • Frequent attendance at games, events, and entertainment functions in fast-paced, high-energy settings
  • Exposure to outdoor elements when traveling between venues or attending outdoor events
  • Work schedule includes regular evening and weekend hours during hockey season and special events
  • High-pressure environment with tight deadlines and multiple competing priorities
  • Professional business environment requiring executive presence and professional attire
  • May be exposed to loud music, crowd noise, and bright lighting during events and games
