The People and Culture Business Partner is a strategic HR professional responsible for partnering with business leaders across Foley Entertainment Group to deliver comprehensive people solutions that drive organizational success. This role serves as a trusted advisor to all business units, providing guidance on talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and culture initiatives. The PCBP acts as a bridge between the People and Culture function and the business, translating business objectives into people strategies while championing FEG's mission to provide premier sports and entertainment experiences. This position requires a seasoned HR generalist who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to support leaders in building high-performing, engaged teams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
  •  Serve as the primary HR point of contact and trusted advisor for all business units (e.g., venue operations, business office teams, or foundation)
  •  Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into actionable people strategies
  •  Participate in leadership team meetings to provide HR insights and guidance on organizational matters
  •  Conduct regular business reviews with leaders to assess team health, identify risks, and develop proactive solutions
  •  Provide consultation on organizational design, restructuring, and workforce planning initiatives
  •  Support business growth through strategic workforce planning and talent pipeline development
Talent Management & Development
  •  Partner with leaders on talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent for their teams
  •  Facilitate performance management processes including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations
  •  Coach managers on delivering effective feedback, conducting difficult conversations, and developing their teams
  •  Identify high-potential employees and collaborate on development plans and succession strategies
  •  Support career development initiatives and internal mobility opportunities
  •  Identify training needs and deliver relevant programs
Employee Relations & Engagement
  •  Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  •  Conduct investigations into employee relations matters including complaints, conflicts, and policy violations
  •  Mediate workplace conflicts and provide guidance on resolution strategies
  •  Manage complex employee relations issues including performance improvement plans and terminations
  •  Monitor team engagement through pulse surveys, stay/exit interviews, and regular check-ins with employees
  •  Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention within assigned business units
  •  Champion culture initiatives and ensure alignment with FEG values across teams
Organizational Culture & Change Management
  •  Drive culture transformation and employee engagement initiatives within assigned business areas
  •  Lead change management efforts supporting organizational transitions, restructuring, or new initiatives
  •  Facilitate team-building activities and programs that strengthen collaboration and morale
  •  Partner with leaders to create inclusive, high-performance team environments
  •  Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at the business unit level
  •  Act as a culture ambassador, modeling FEG values and reinforcing desired behaviors
Compensation & Benefits
  •  Provide guidance to managers on compensation decisions including offers, promotions, and merit increases
  •  Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness in compensation recommendations
  •  Partner with total rewards team on annual compensation planning and execution
  •  Educate employees and managers on benefits programs and resolve benefits-related questions
  •  Analyze compensation data within business units to identify trends and opportunities
HR Operations & Compliance
  •  Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws within assigned business areas
  •  Support HR policy implementation and ensure consistent application across teams
  •  Coordinate leave management, accommodations, and workers' compensation matters
  •  Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in HRIS systems
  •  Collaborate with legal counsel on employment-related matters as needed
  •  Stay current on employment law changes and communicate impacts to business leaders
Data & Analytics
  •  Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and inform decision-making
  •  Prepare regular reports for business leaders on key people metrics (turnover, time-to-fill, engagement, etc.)
  •  Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for business improvement
  •  Track and report on the success of HR initiatives within assigned business units
Qualifications
Required:
  •  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
  •  7+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3-5 years in a business partner or manager role
  •  Proven experience partnering with business leaders and providing strategic HR guidance
  •  Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
  •  Demonstrated success managing complex employee relations matters and conducting investigations
  •  Experience coaching and developing managers on people leadership skills
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build trust at all organizational levels
  •  Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in handling sensitive situations
  •  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  •  Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  •  Strategic thinking combined with hands-on, execution-oriented approach
Preferred:
  •  Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  •  Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent)
  •  Experience in the sports, entertainment, or hospitality industry
  •  Experience in multi-site or geographically dispersed organizations
  •  Background supporting high-growth or rapidly changing business units
  •  Familiarity with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
Physical Requirements
  •  Ability to sit for extended periods during meetings, computer work, and consultation sessions
  •  Frequent standing and walking to visit different departments, properties, and attend events
  •  Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods
  •  Manual dexterity for typing, filing, and operating office equipment
  •  Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, and written materials
  •  Hearing ability to participate in meetings, presentations, and confidential conversations
  •  Ability to travel between FEG properties and occasionally for training or business needs
  •  Occasional light lifting (up to 25 pounds) for materials or event-related items
Work Environment
  •  Professional corporate office environment with regular presence across assigned FEG properties
  •  Standard business hours with occasional evenings, weekends, and extended hours during peak business periods, events, and urgent employee matters
  •  Fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere requiring flexibility, discretion, and quick decision-making
  •  High level of confidentiality required in handling sensitive employee and organizational information
  •  Extensive interaction with business leaders, employees at all levels, and HR team members
  •  Attendance at sporting events and business meetings outside normal office hours as needed
  •  Work with standard office equipment including computer, phone, video conferencing technology, and HRIS systems
  •  Climate-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to arena/stadium environments during events
  •  May require travel to other FEG properties including LFF, AFC, or HR conferences
  •  Collaborative, team-oriented culture with high expectations for performance and partnership with the business
