Position Summary: The Vegas Golden Knights are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director, Global Partnership Sales to identify strategic opportunities, develop creative proposals, and close deals that drive revenue and deliver measurable impact for brand partners. This role blends strategic thinking, creative storytelling, executive-level selling, and strong interpersonal and presentation skills. This position will serve as a key revenue driver across the Golden Knights organization and its affiliated sports properties: Henderson Silver Knights (AHL), Vegas Knight Hawks (IFL), City National Arena, American First Center, & Lee's Family Forum.
It will assist in shaping our go‑to‑market strategy, elevating our platform for global and national partners, and setting a high bar for innovation and performance.

The Director will collaborate with the Partnership Marketing team, ensuring alignment, creativity, and exceptional partner outcomes across all touchpoints including in-arena assets, digital media, broadcast, experiential platforms, and emerging ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development
·         Own the full deal cycle: prospecting, discovery, strategy, ideation, valuation, proposal, pitching, negotiation, and closing.
·         Secure new corporate partners across local, regional, national, and global markets for the entire FEG portfolio, including the Vegas Golden Knights, Henderson Silver Knights, Vegas Knight Hawks, City National Arena, Lee's Family Forum, and emerging ventures.
·         Build and maintain a robust, multi-segment pipeline of prospective partners aligned with FEG's strategic priorities.
·         Craft customized, insight-driven sponsorship solutions that integrate media, digital, social, signage, in-arena, and experiential platforms.
·         Deliver persuasive, executive-ready proposals and presentations that clearly articulate value, innovation, and ROI.

Consultative Selling & Innovation
·         Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop tailored solutions tied to partner objectives and KPIs.
·         Use data, research, audience insights, and storytelling to define impact and demonstrate measurable ROI.
·         Identify and develop new assets, co-created programs, and category platforms that unlock growth and deepen brand integration.
·         Stay ahead of industry trends including content, influencer strategy, performance models, retail media, and emerging technology to bring fresh, scalable ideas to market.

Revenue DevelopmentKey Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Revenue Development
·         Support the expansion of ancillary revenue streams including premium venue rentals, special events, third-party activations, merchandise, licensed products, and content monetization.
·         Contribute to pricing strategies, valuation models, and revenue optimization initiatives across the portfolio.
·         Partner with senior leadership on long-term business planning and financial forecasting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
·         Collaborate with Partnership Marketing to ensure strategic alignment, best-in-class execution, and measurable outcomes.
·         Work closely with Digital, Marketing, Creative, Ticketing, Operations, Community Relations, Analytics, and Venue Management to ensure partnerships integrate seamlessly with broader organizational goals.

Team Leadership & Culture
·         Mentor and develop high-potential sellers, modeling best-in-class prospecting, strategy, and executive communication.
·         Foster a team-first culture anchored in innovation, accountability, pipeline discipline, and continuous improvement.
·         Contribute to scalable processes, playbooks, pricing and valuation models.

Relationship Management & Representation
·         Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision makers, agencies, and brand marketers.
·         Represent FEG at industry events, conferences, and key external meetings.
·         Serve as an external ambassador for the organization, cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, league partners, agencies, and community leaders.

Performance Tracking & Reporting
·         Maintain accurate tracking of sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts in CRM systems.
·         Provide timely updates to sales leadership on pipeline health, risks, wins, and competitive insights.

Qualifications:
·         7+ years of progressive experience in sports, entertainment, or a comparable consumer-facing industry with a strong commercial focus.
·         Demonstrated track record of closing six- and seven-figure partnership deals.
·         Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
·         Proven success in sponsorship sales, premium revenue development, or multi-platform brand partnerships.
·         Strong understanding of the Las Vegas market and its entertainment-driven dynamics is a plus; experience in national and global markets preferred.
·         Experience working across multiple sports teams, properties, or brands strongly preferred.
·         Strong analytical mindset with expertise in CRM systems, pricing models, and data-driven decision-making.
·         Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to structure and close complex, multi-year agreements.
·         Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements:
·         Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during meetings, events, and venue tours
·         Travel may be required
·         Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
·         Capacity to navigate multi-level venue facilities, including stairs and various event spaces
·         Ability to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds (presentation materials, marketing collateral, etc.)
·         Visual acuity sufficient to review financial documents, contracts, and presentation materials
·         Manual dexterity required for computer use, document handling, and electronic device operation

Work Environment:
·         Primary work location in modern office environment with standard office equipment
·         Regular exposure to arena/venue environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and crowd conditions
·         Frequent attendance at games, events, and entertainment functions in fast-paced, high-energy settings
·         Exposure to outdoor elements when traveling between venues or attending outdoor events
·         Work schedule includes regular evening and weekend hours during hockey season and special events
