Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales
The Sales Associate program is designed to build a highly competitive sales culture to ultimately produce the next generation of Account Executives into the sports industry.  Sales Associates will be responsible for goals associated with generating revenue through the sale of new season tickets, partial plans, groups, event suites, premium seating and more.  This is achieved with a proactive work ethic and following the guidelines of the SA Program. There are also additional revenue responsibilities as new projects are assigned.
Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed individual and team new business revenue goals for GLI
  • Sell a full menu of ticket products for GLI, including, but not limited to full season, partial season and group packages
  • Proactively create opportunities for new business through up-selling and referrals from existing clients
  • Build strong relationships with assigned account base through proactive communication including seat visits, phone calls, emails and other touchpoints
  • Contact past customers in order to generate new ticket sales
  • Cordially and effectively handle incoming sales calls from prospective clients for all ticket sales products
  • Conduct in-area meetings and tours of The Dollar Loan Center, using the SA Program’s tour training tools, to assist in closing new business 
  • Make a minimum of sixty (60) outbound cold calls per day
  • Be proactive, respond to and resolve all customer complaints, requests, and inquiries from assigned account base; handle difficult fans and situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Ensure ticket member information and data are accurate and complete for assigned accounts
  • Assist in developing and delivering customized benefits, programs and events to drive loyalty within group and premium seating accounts
  • Ability to stand, set up and break down sales tables, work nights, weekends and holidays as needed, in addition to traditional business hours
  • Other projects as assigned 
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
  • Excellent Communication Skills - interpersonal, verbal, written, sales
  • Problem Solver, Creative, Detail Orientated, Team Player
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong desire to build a career in the sports business
  • Be able to work evenings and weekends, as required
Education / Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/sales/marketing/sports management or similar concentration required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years sales/service experience, ticketing preferred
