Overview:
The Muskegon Lumberjacks, a proud member of the United States Hockey League (USHL), are seeking high-energy, team-oriented Business Development Interns for the upcoming 2025 - 2026 season. This internship offers a behind-the-scenes look at the business side of sports, perfect for students looking to gain real world experience in ticketing, sponsorship activation, and game day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Business Development Executive/Director of Sales in managing the ticketing process on game days
- Operate and troubleshoot ticketing software to ensure smooth fan entry
- Help fulfill sponsorship agreements (signage, activations, giveaways, etc.)
- Support game day execution, including setup, promotions, and fan experience
- Learn and assist with front office operations including CRM systems and customer service
Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Available to work nights, weekends, and game days throughout the season
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Energetic, outgoing, and eager to learn
