We are looking for a talented and driven Photography Intern to join our media team for the 2025–26 season. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in sports photography, including live game coverage, promotional events, and behind-the-scenes content. The ideal candidate is creative, reliable, and passionate about storytelling through images.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Capture high-quality photos at all home games, events, and community appearances
Assist with editing, organizing, and archiving photos for use across social media, marketing, and sponsorship materials
Collaborate with the social media team to deliver timely content on game nights and event days
Shoot promotional and candid content for player features, theme nights, and team campaigns
Maintain a consistent visual brand across all photo content
Assist with content planning and creative brainstorming sessions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong understanding of sports/action photography and composition
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Detail-oriented, creative, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Must have access to your own professional-grade camera and photography equipment.
Portfolio or samples of work strongly preferred

The Team:
The Madison Capitols, members of the United States Hockey League (USHL), are coming off of a record breaking season on the ice. Off the ice, the Capitols had their highest average attendance since the team's first season back in 2014-15.
