Overview:
The Madison Capitols are seeking a dedicated Academic Advisor to support our student-athletes in maintaining academic progress and eligibility throughout the season. This role is ideal for a retired educator, graduate student, or professional with a flexible morning schedule and a passion for supporting youth development.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily study hall sessions and ensure a focused learning environment.
  • Provide academic guidance and support in coordination with each player's school.
  • Proctor exams and monitor online course completion as needed.
  • Communicate with Capitols coaching staff and school officials to track academic progress.
  • Encourage responsibility, accountability, and time management in players.
  • Adjust schedule as needed based on team travel, practices, or coaching adjustments.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in education, academic advising, tutoring, or similar roles.
  • Must be able to proctor exams and uphold academic integrity.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries with student-athletes.
  • Background check required.
