Manager of Media and Production
Position Summary:
The Manager of Media and Production is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all marketing, digital, and creative production efforts to promote the organization’s brand, products, and events. This role blends strategy with hands-on execution, managing campaigns across traditional and digital channels, creating engaging content, and overseeing production processes to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Strategy
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and revenue.
- Plan and manage promotional campaigns for products, events, and initiatives across multiple platforms.
- Analyze campaign performance data to assess ROI and optimize future strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to align messaging and objectives.
- Work with the hockey operations department on all designs needed throughout the season. Including camp materials, scouting packets, team announcements, and player development and more.
Digital & Social Media
- Oversee the organization’s digital presence, including website, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Create and curate engaging digital content that supports brand goals and resonates with target audiences.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, social metrics, and digital campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with trends in digital marketing and emerging platforms.
Creative & Production
- Manage the production of all creative materials, including graphics, videos, print collateral, and in-venue displays.
- Lead the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring consistent branding and quality across all assets.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, and vendors to deliver timely, on-budget projects.
- Oversee production schedules and ensure deadlines are met for campaigns, events, and content releases.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, digital content, or production roles; management experience preferred.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools, CMS platforms, and social media management.
- Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Graphic design, video production, and basic editing tools is needed.
Reporting:
This position reports to the President of Business Operations and may supervise marketing interns, or freelancers, and production staff as needed.
