As a member of the Maintenance Crew you have a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited too:
Essential Functions of the Job:

• Operates ice resurfacing machine and performs basic maintenance checks of ice and the machine.

• General maintenance including janitorial and related cleaning activities.

• Enforces building security procedures, including opening and closing the facility.

• Maintains tools and equipment used in daily operations.

• Assists in special events preparation.

• Attends regularly scheduled work hours and outside regular hours as necessary.

• Effectively and respectfully communicates and interacts with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customers.

Conditions of Employment:

• Must possess a valid Driver's License or the ability to obtain within thirty (30) days of employment.

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Work Schedule:

Hours of work are structured to meet business demands, and the needs of the public served. Hours will vary each week. Evening and weekend hours required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Customer service skills and professionalism.

• Ability to occasionally lift and move heavy equipment (50+ lbs).

• Trained or willing to be trained in Zamboni and ice edger operation.

• Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment.

• Familiarity with ice maintenance practices (flooding, edging, painting).

• Ability to follow a strict resurfacing and maintenance schedule.

• Good judgment and decision-making under pressure.
