Job Summary: 

The Des Moines Buccaneers are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager & Merchandising Lead to oversee daily office operations and manage the team’s retail and e-commerce initiatives. This role is essential in ensuring efficient administrative support, maintaining financial records, and developing our merchandise business. The ideal candidate will have experience in office management, bookkeeping, and e-commerce, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced sports environment. 

 

How You’ll Contribute: 

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency across departments. 
  • Maintain financial records, assist with bookkeeping, and support budget management. 
  • Lead merchandise operations, including inventory, sales, and online store management. 
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to enhance product offerings. 
  • Assist with administrative tasks and internal communications. 
  • Support marketing, events, and game day operations as needed. 
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in office management, retail/e-commerce, bookkeeping, or a related field. 
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. 
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Square, or similar. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed. 
  • Must have U.S. work authorization.
