Job Summary:
The Des Moines Buccaneers are seeking a creative and driven Videographer Intern to support the team’s video content efforts. This role will work closely with the Digital Media Coordinator to assist with content production, social media content creation, and game day video coverage.

This is a part-time internship (approximately 10–20 hours per week), with flexible hours to accommodate school schedules. It’s an exciting opportunity to build a professional portfolio while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced sports environment.

How You’ll Contribute:
  • Capture and edit video content for social media, in-game entertainment, and marketing purposes
  • Assist with shooting and editing content during home games and special events
  • Support the Digital Media Coordinator with storytelling and content planning
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and team voice
  • Organize and manage digital assets and video files
  • Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas to engage fans and spotlight players, coaches, and community initiatives
  • Support live content creation for platforms such as Instagram Stories, TikTok, and Reels
  • Other video-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must have access to your own camera and be comfortable using it for both planned and on-the-fly shoots
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro (After Effects is a plus)
  • Pursuing a degree in Digital Media, Film, Communications, or a related field (recent grads welcome)
  • Experience with camera equipment and video editing software
  • Understanding of social media platforms and what performs well visually
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for game days
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling instincts
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Passion for sports and content creation is highly encouraged
