The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are looking for a video intern to assist with game night and in-office video collection and organization for our creative department. This is a great opportunity for a local college student looking to get more experience working in video production and/or professional sports.
This is a non-paid opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and in a team environment, have at least a basic knowledge of hockey, familiarity with video editing software (Premier Pro), and be available to work on site for home games and remotely for road contests.

Basic duties of the position include:
FLO HOCKEY STREAM
FLO HOCKEY STREAM
- Monitor the team’s FloHockey stream during home and road games.
- Tracking and clipping goals, saves, hits and other notable events during streams.
- Publishing in-stream graphics during intermissions/end of game.
HOME GAME IN-ARENA VIDEO
- Postgame video collection from in-arena sources.
- Putting together postgame highlights packages for YouTube and distribution.
- Assist with capturing coach and player postgame interviews
IN OFFICE VIDEO
- Logging and archiving video clips from arena video sources.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements
• Basic knowledge of ice hockey and the Penguins organization
• Must have own transportation to assigned events.
• Flexible hours based on game dates and times.
• Available for regular office hours, evening work and weekend events.
• Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
