The Utica Comets, Utica City FC, and Adirondack Bank Center are seeking a high-level, strategic leader to serve as Vice President of Ticket Sales. This executive role is responsible for driving all ticket revenue streams across the organization, overseeing staff development, and aligning departmental strategies with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales leader with a track record of success in sales, delivering growth, leading people, and creating sustainable systems of success.

As a senior member of the leadership team, the Vice President will be instrumental in shaping ticketing initiatives across multiple sports and events, while cultivating a strong sales culture grounded in speed, execution and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and implement the overarching ticket sales strategy, including season memberships, group sales, premium offerings, and single-game initiatives.
Drive revenue by selling corporate ticket packages, group tickets, and season tickets across the Utica market
Lead department staff, including directors, managers, and Account Executives, through structured mentorship, clear goal setting, and professional development.
Establish sales goals, key performance indicators, and growth targets to guide both short-term performance and long-term planning.
Oversee the creation of dynamic pricing models, creative ticket packages, and promotional campaigns aimed at maximizing revenue and attendance.
Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and operations teams to unify sales strategies with fan engagement and brand initiatives.
Utilize CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and ticketing platforms (Paciolan preferred) to optimize lead tracking, retention campaigns, and customer segmentation.
Build relationships with top clients, sponsors, and community partners to drive business development and strengthen the organization’s market presence.
Provide executive-level reporting on revenue performance, pipeline health, and sales initiatives to ownership and senior leadership.
Represent the organization at league functions, sponsor events, and high-level meetings as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum 3+ years of sales and/or leadership experience in sports or entertainment
Proven ability to manage large teams and deliver measurable revenue growth
Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and ticketing systems (Paciolan preferred)

Compensation

Expected Salary Range: $70,000-90,000 commensurate with experience. Includes bonus structure and benefits package.
