JOB SUMMARY: The Graphic Design Coordinator will be primarily responsible for graphic design and development with the Texas Stars Marketing Department. This individual will also assist with game operations and general marketing efforts for the Texas Stars. The position will report directly to the Manager, Game Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for creative conception and development of Texas Stars marketing & sales materials, advertising, in-game content, and web content
- Produces annual theme of Texas Stars graphics
- Produces print-ready artwork for publications such as pocket schedules, ticket sales brochures, sales decks, posters, season ticket artwork, and program covers
- Generates website splash pages and graphics for all social media platforms
- Generates video board graphics
- Produces TV ad graphics and compiles ads for delivery
- Position will also receive duties and training in game day activities related to game operations
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with the creation and development of H-E-B Center graphics and marketing materials when needed
- Assists with social media marketing initiatives
- Assists with official website management through existing content manager
- Assists with game operations
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, other related degree, or similar work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent phone skills, ability to work nights and weekend hours when required
- Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances, embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly
- Ability organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Required computer skills: Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Mac OS X; Microsoft Office
- Preferred computer skills: Adobe AfterEffects, Basic HTML
- Must be able to work all Texas Stars games and special events hosted by the Stars
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is exposed to office and arena environments, with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud.
