Sales & Service Manager 

The Syracuse Crunch are seeking a Sales & Service Manager to successfully drive revenue through prospecting, securing, fulfilling and retaining current and new accounts. This position will be responsible for selling a full portfolio of assets along with assisting in the execution of sponsorships.  

The Sales & Service Manager will be expected to build strong relationships, sell and execute premium opportunities and deliver high-level customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Generate revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, prospecting/research, referrals, personal appointments and person-to-person contact at Crunch games
·       Sell full portfolio of Crunch assets including sponsorship, suites, party stage, full and partial season tickets, flex packages, group tickets and special ticket plans year-round
·       Be day-to-day contact and manage contract fulfillment for several current corporate partners to ensure that clients receive superior service
·       Coordinate and attend sponsor events
·       Assist with game day events and activations for corporate partners, including but not limited to special activations, pregame, in-game and intermission promotions, hospitality events, promotional activations and displays
·       Collect, analyze, prepare and deliver proof of performance materials for partners throughout the year
·       Work with internal departments to identify and develop new sponsorable inventory
·       Assist in networking strategies, including booking team executives for community speaking engagements 
·       Identify opportunities to enhance sales assets, plans and processes to deliver partner results
·       Maintain and manage customer contact information in existing CRM database
·       Actively prospect new contacts throughout Central New York
·       Establish relationships to create repeat business 
·       Develop and execute multiple theme and group nights
·       Additional responsibilities as assigned by Chief Operating Officer

The qualified candidate for this position should have the following:

·       Bachelor’s degree 
·       Desire to start and grow a career in the sports industry
·       Prior experience in sales, account management or service is preferred
·       Strong organizational and time management skills
·       Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
·       Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
·       Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends 
·       Position is required to work all home games
·       High energy, ability to remain focused on sales goals and work independently
