The Syracuse Crunch are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Coordinator to execute sponsorship activations and collaborate across departments to ensure fulfillment of partnership assets. This position will also be responsible for selling a full portfolio of assets, building strong relationships and delivering high-level customer service.
Corporate Responsibilities:
- Be day-to-day contact and manage contract fulfillment for several current corporate partners to ensure that clients receive superior service
- Draft select sponsorship proposals
- Coordinate and attend sponsor events
- Assist with game day events and activations for corporate partners, including but not limited to special activations, pregame, in-game and intermission promotions, hospitality events, promotional activations and displays
- Collect, analyze, prepare and deliver proof of performance materials for partners throughout the year
- Work with internal departments to identify and develop new sponsorable inventory
- Spearhead initiatives for the team’s Mental Wellness Campaign, including coordinating internal and external events
- Identify opportunities to enhance sales assets, plans and processes to deliver partner results
- Generate revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, prospecting/research, referrals, personal appointments and person-to-person contact at Crunch games
- Sell full portfolio of Crunch assets including sponsorship, suites, party stage, full and partial season tickets, flex packages, group tickets and special ticket plans year-round
- Maintain and manage customer contact information in existing CRM database
- Actively prospect new contacts throughout Central New York
- Establish relationships to create repeat business
- Develop and execute select theme and group nights
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Chief Operating Officer
The qualified candidate for this position should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Desire to start and grow a career in the sports industry
- Prior experience in sales, account management or service is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends
- Position is required to work all home games
- High energy, ability to remain focused on sales goals and work independently
