We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to serve as our Arena Blimp Operator during home games. This role adds excitement and entertainment for fans by flying the promotional blimp during intermissions.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the arena blimp during scheduled intermissions at all home games.
- Maintain control and maneuverability of the blimp throughout fan engagement activities.
- Work closely with game operations staff to ensure smooth timing and coordination.
- Conduct pre- and post-use checks of the equipment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating drones, remote-controlled aircraft, or similar equipment is preferred.
- Comfort working in front of large crowds.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Dependable and punctual for all home game assignments.
Schedule & Commitment:
- Required for all home games.
- Approximately 2 hours per game (including setup, operation, and breakdown).
Compensation:
- Volunteer position (unpaid).
