Position Summary
The Retail Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day retail operations for Lehigh Valley Phantoms. This position is responsible for overseeing game day and non-game day store operations, leading part-time staff, and delivering a high-quality fan shopping experience that drives revenue and brand engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead retail staff during game days and events, ensuring strong customer service and operational efficiency
- Assist in executing daily retail operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS management
- Train, coach, and motivate part-time team members to meet sales and service expectations
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained in alignment with brand guidelines
- Support inventory management processes, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and organization of back-of-house areas
- Assist in implementing promotions, special events, and new product launches
- Monitor sales trends and provide feedback to leadership on opportunities to improve performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment
Qualifications
- Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, including all home games and events
- Basic understanding of retail operations, POS systems, and inventory control
- Passion for sports and delivering exceptional fan experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sports or entertainment retail environments
- Knowledge of inventory systems and merchandising strategies
- Proven ability to drive sales and motivate a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a high-energy, crowded environment
