Do you have what it takes to be the center of the show? The Hartford Wolf Pack is seeking an energetic individual to join the staff in the role of Mascot. This individual will have a self-motivated attitude and desire to represent the Wolf Pack brand to the highest standards.
 Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

·         Perform as Sonar at all scheduled public appearances and game days.

·         Preserve the identity of the mascot without deviating from established character including: - Body Language/Mannerisms - Attitude - Fan Interaction - Team Representation.

·         Maintain and care for mascot costume as well as props and equipment.

·         Support other Wolf Pack Marketing, Game Operations, & Community initiatives and events as directed. 

·         Create skits and/or in-game promo timeout activities that involve Sonar

·         Attend and participate in applicable Marketing, Game Operations, & Community meetings. 

·         Have an outgoing personality. Willingness and desire to perform as the mascot.

·          Prior performance experience is required.

·          Local candidates preferred.

·          Ability to Ice Skate.

·          Desire to pursue a career in the sports industry.

·          Reliable transportation.

·          Experience in non-verbal performance and communication.

·         Strong organizational & time management skills .

·         Posses the ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and work under tight deadlines.

·         Proven experience of appropriately working with and around confidential information.

·         Flexible schedule – ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

·         Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, and rain.

·         Ability to wear the mascot costume for at least two hours (with breaks).

·         Ability to lift 20 lbs on occasion.
