The Game Presentation Interns will play an active role in the setup, execution, and breakdown of all Grand Rapids Griffins home games and select events. Game Presentation Interns will work closely with the Game Presentation and Events Manager to ensure smooth execution of all in-game logistics and fan-facing activations, while supporting the creation of a best-in-class experience for players, partners, and fans.

Length of Internship:  September 2026 – May 2027, with the option to extend through the 2027 playoff run (Terms and conditions of internship may be adjusted at any time)

Duties and Responsibilities
  •  Assist in the setup and teardown of all home games, including signage, promotional materials, and fan engagement stations
  • Support the planning and execution of all in-game promotions, theme nights, and intermission activities
  • Assist our mascots and promotional team with in-game activities, appearances, and time management
  • Communicate with game day personnel via Clear-Com system
  • Provide hands-on assistance during games, including decorating, managing giveaways, and troubleshooting logistical needs
  • Track and maintain inventory of event equipment, ensuring proper usage and organization 
  • Engage with and encourage fans to participate in contests and activities to keep the energy level high
  • Represent the Griffins team at Community sanctioned events

Desired Qualifications:
  •  Able to work effectively with little to no supervision
  • Outgoing with excellent communication skills and comfortable starting conversations with fans
  • Must have excellent strong, personal organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude and a team player  

Requirements:
  • Able to work all home games (nights, weekends, and holidays are required)
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Internship can be eligible for college credit. 
  • Must have own reliable mode of transportation
  • Assist in additional operational and administrative duties as needed
  • Must be comfortable with physical labor, must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
