The Game Presentation Coordinator will support and collaborate with the Game Presentation & Production Department in the planning and execution of all Tampa Bay Lightning home games, select Vinik Sports Group and Amalie Arena events, as well as various organizational initiatives and team-related appearances throughout the Tampa Bay community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and collaborate with the Game Presentation and Production department in the planning and execution of all Tampa Bay Lightning home games, select Vinik Sports Group (VSG) and Arena events, and a variety of organizational and team-related initiatives across the Tampa Bay community.
- Key areas of responsibility include:
- Preparing, proofreading, and organizing production scripts and talent copy.
- Securing all necessary in-game and live production elements (e.g., props, prizes, talent) by coordinating with internal departments.
- Distributing presentation timelines and logistical materials (e.g., tickets, parking passes, credentials), and coordinating with external partners such as broadcast trucks, talent, officiating crews, and event producers.
- Serving as stage manager for designated in-game presentations and live productions.
- Supervising the Blue Crew team, overseeing their logistics, game night duties, and event booking.
- Contributing creatively to theme nights and special promotions across organizational and team platforms.
- Attending production meetings to contribute ideas, with a focus on enhancing theme night experiences and branded initiatives.
- Assisting with the production of live-streamed events such as Pre-Season and Rookie Camp Tournaments, Watch Parties, Podcasts, and Corporate Meetings.
- Supporting the coordination and execution of Ford Thunder Alley pregame show elements and door-open entertainment, including managing emcee scripts, live music/DJ setups, and AV operations staff.
- Organizing and managing promotional items and game night assets.
- Overseeing and coordinating electric experiences (Fan Zam Rides, Penalty Box Experiences, Post-Game Bench Photos, etc.) on game nights.
- Leading in-game interactive activations such as Vixi Suite, Tagboard, and related fan engagement tools.
Supervisory & Management Responsibilities
- The Game Presentation Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Bolts Blue Crew on a game night and event basis, ensuring they are properly briefed, equipped, and positioned for maximum fan engagement. This role also leads the stage managers and production assistants during home games, providing clear direction, managing timelines, and maintaining a cohesive and professional show execution from pre-game through post-game.

Qualifications
- Professional, enthusiastic, and outgoing demeanor with a high level of integrity.
- Minimum of two seasons of professional experience in game presentation and/or production with a sports organization.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Television/Video Production, Marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and public speaking skills.
- Strong understanding of pop culture, entertainment trends, and hockey/sports.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications and digital tools.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting
- This is an onsite role; flexibility to work a minority of time remotely.
- Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift/carry/move up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Ability to travel within the US and Canada for up to one-week at a time
- Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
- Ability to work comfortable around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.
