50/50 Raffle Seller
Job Summary
The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Lightning Foundation are looking for high-energy, motivated, and reliable individuals to join our 50/50 raffle staff as sellers for the 2026-2027 hockey season. The position requires an outgoing personality while selling 50/50 raffle tickets to fans during Lightning Hockey games. It also requires interaction with a large number of guests while maintaining a strong representation of world-class service as a Lightning Brand Ambassador.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sell 50/50 raffle tickets to fans at the arena pre-game and during games
Approach and speak to a large number of fans each game
Use mobile handheld or stationary device and printers for the sale of 50/50 raffle tickets
Accurately handle cash from raffle ticket sales and turn it in to the Manager of Community Relations & Social Impact at the end of the night
Communicate and educate fans about 50/50 Raffle details and rules
Represent the Vinik Sports Group, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Foundation in a positive manner as brand ambassadors, while providing world-class service to our fans
Understand the mission of the Lightning Foundation and effectively communicate and deliver information regarding the Lightning Foundation’s charitable endeavors
Responsible for meeting or exceeding designated sales targets and goals
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1+ year of customer service experience
Must be comfortable working with technology
Prior experience handling cash transactions
Must be prompt and arrive to scheduled shifts on time
Must demonstrate a positive attitude when interreacting with fans and other employees
Must be will to work at least 4-hour shifts
Working Conditions
Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language
Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.
Ability to work in loud environments
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
