Ticket Seller Supervisor
Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing part-time window staff on event nights. Will occasionally be required to assist with the sale and distribution of event tickets. This position will cover a wider array of even types (Sports/Concerts/NCAA Events) across multiple venues. This role requires employees to learn and efficiently use VSG ticketing platforms as well as assist guests, Season Ticket Members, and staff with ticketing-related items. This is a part-time opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Act as liaison between frontline window staff and full-time Ticket Operations staff
Independently and accurately troubleshoot and resolve guest issues
Responsible for ticket office opening and closing procedures
Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World-Class Plus Service
Greet guests in a polite, professional, and friendly manner
Courteous, helpful demeanor when answering phones
Maintain composure when interacting with all guests
Ensure guests’ needs are met by providing accurate information regarding directions, arena information, event details, etc.
Facilitate ticket sales and distribution transactions
Obtain and use general knowledge of Ticketmaster ticketing system
Obtain general knowledge of ticket selling platform and mobile ticket platform
Troubleshoot any ticketing matters
Assist guests in selecting seating for events
Accurately organize and distribute Will Call tickets to guests
Willingness to assist with various Ticket Operations items and/or projects as necessary
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ticketing experience (Archtics, Host, TM1 Sales) preferred but not required
Minimum of one year of guest service experience
Comply with VSG company policy of background checks
Maintain an energetic, pleasant, and neat professional appearance
Must be polite, friendly and possess exceptional customer relations skills
Punctual, dependable, and excellent work attendance required
Ability to relate with a diverse customer background
Adaptable to work independently or in a team environment
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Ability to work at various locations including but limited to: Benchmark International Arena, Yuengling Center, and Raymond James Stadium
Working Conditions
Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language
Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.
Ability to work in loud environments
Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
