JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently recruiting people who share a passion for hockey and will strive to provide world-class plus service to Tampa Bay Lightning and Concert/Event fans at Benchmark International Arena. Be a part of the Team behind the Teams and work in a fun, exciting game day environment with the Retail Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet fans and provide world-class plus service
- Assist fans with retail purchases through Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Assist with stocking retail merchandise on sales floor
- Assist with replenishing retail merchandise on displays/shelves during and after games
- Assist with inventory of merchandise
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years old with high school diploma or GED required
- Experience working in retail or sales preferred, cash handling skills preferred
- Ability to learn and retain inventory knowledge so that you will be able to assist guests looking for certain products and utilize knowledge to up sell retail products
- Ability to provide a fun and professional environment for fans
- Outgoing personality and desire to provide world-class plus service to fans
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional accuracy when using Point of Sale (POS) systems
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language
- Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.
- Ability to work in loud environments
- Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
