Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program in the areas of pipework systems, backflow preventers, cartridge changes, grease traps, etc
- Trouble shoot and repair a variety of plumbing issues, including toilets, urinals, flush controls
- Some new install of pipe work and fixtures
- Assist, as required, other skilled trades in a variety of maintenance repairs.
- Represent Vinik Sports Group professionally at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Recommended Journeyman Plumbing license
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work in large crowds for an extended period of time
- Ability to lift 25 pounds without accommodation
- Five (5) years trade experience
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes
- Strong understanding of equipment
- Ability to read and decipher blueprints, schematics, and working equipment documents
- Ability to decipher problems and remedy same
- Team worker with emphasis on safety in the workplace
- Ability to work both independently and in team-oriented environments
- Detail-oriented w/ excellent organizational skills
- Creative and proactive problem solver
- Ability to generate trust and support
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic
- Healthy and positive attitude
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and selected holidays
- Must have the ability to work off ladders and use scissor lifts.

Working Conditions
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting
- Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift/carry/move up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Ability to use hands and fingers on office and mobile technology
- Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
- Ability to move comfortable throughout the arena with minimal accommodations
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.
- Ability to work comfortable around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc
- Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times
