Event Ticket Coordinator
Job Summary
The Event Ticket Coordinator will be part of a team responsible for the administrative and technical duties related to the ticket management of concerts and family events held at the Benchmark International Arena, Yuengling Center, and Raymond James Stadium. The Event Ticket Coordinator will also be responsible for overseeing and directing Frontline ticket office staff on both event nights and regular business hours. This position will ensure excellent, efficient, and professional ticketing and sales services for both Benchmark International Arena and the Yuengling Center.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Setup of concerts, family, and non-hockey events on Ticketmaster’s Host and Archtics Systems
Work with Event Booking and Marketing on scaling and preshow setup
Work with show promoters on setup
Direct communication with various promoter and tour representatives
Prepare all settlement reports on event night
Work anywhere from 30-60 events annually (total subject to change)
Prepare daily sales reports and deposits
Process incoming promoter and internal requests for events and shows
Oversee all ticket delivery (mobile and will call) for events
Participate in organizational and department personal development activities
Perform other duties, as assigned
Game/Event Responsibilities
Event Night Responsibilities: Yes
Approximate number of events worked per year: 30-40
Coordinate with on-site tour representative on reports, seat holds, artist tickets, etc.
Provide support to internal parties for relocation tickets (including during show with Guest Services)
Assist ticket sellers & supervisors with ticketing customer service inquiries & troubleshooting
Set up gate entry for event to ensure ease and accuracy in ticket scanning
Ensure floor seating is set up correctly (if applicable)
Provide ticketing reports at the end of the night for show settlement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
1 -2 years’ experience working in ticket operations
Ticketmaster and Archtics experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills and organizational skills
Ability to appropriately handle confidential matters and information
Ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail, excellent planning skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with their team and business partners
Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Working Conditions
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena/stadium environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting
This is an onsite role; flexibility to work a minority of time remotely
Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
Ability to work at Benchmark International Arena, Yuengling Center, Raymond James Stadium, and other venues throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area
Ability to lift/carry/move up to 25lbs
Ability to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
Ability to work comfortable around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.
