The Quad City Storm is searching for its second Head Coach in franchise history to lead the organization’s hockey operations department. Responsibilities for this position include:
- Growing and fostering team culture
- Leading practices
- Serving as HC for all home & road games
- Developing players
- Recruiting players
- Scheduling bus travel
- Booking hotel accommodations
- Other duties as assigned
The selected candidate for this position will be expected to develop and maintain positive relationships with the Quad Cities community, fans, Storm Booster Club and adjacent organizations.
Requirements for this position include:
- Previous coaching experience
- Outstanding leadership ability
- Outstanding people skills
Preferred candidates will have some or all of the following experiences:
- SPHL coaching experience
- SPHL playing experience
- NCAA coaching experience
- NCAA playing experience
- ECHL coaching experience
- ECHL playing experience
- ACHA coaching experience
