The Peoria Rivermen are proud members of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), delivering heart-pounding action and unforgettable memories to fans all season long. With a loyal fan base and a mission to grow the game in our community, we’re looking for energetic, driven professionals to join our sales team and help pack Carver Arena every night.
The Role:
As an Account Executive, you’re more than just a salesperson — you’re a relationship builder, a storyteller, and a game-day ambassador. You’ll help fill the stands by selling season tickets, group experiences, and corporate partnerships, while creating lasting connections with fans and businesses in central Illinois.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect and connect with individuals, companies, and organizations to sell season tickets, group packages, and sponsorships.
- Build strong relationships that turn first-time buyers into lifelong Rivermen supporters.
- Represent the Rivermen at games, community events, and networking opportunities.
- Deliver top-notch customer service, making every client feel like part of the team.
- Crush your sales goals — and celebrate your wins with the team.
- Keep accurate sales and contact records in our CRM system.
What We’re Looking For:
- High-energy, competitive personality with a love for sports and live events.
- 1–2 years of sales or customer-facing experience (sports or entertainment industry experience is a bonus, but not required).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with people in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Self-motivated with a desire to exceed expectations and grow your career.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays — because game nights are where the magic happens.
Perks & Benefits:
- Base salary + uncapped commissions (your hard work = your paycheck).
- Complimentary tickets to share with family and friends.
- Paid Time Off.
- Opportunities for career growth within the Rivermen and the sports industry.
- A team culture built on energy, fun, and a shared love of hockey.
