Are you an accomplished and visionary sales leader ready to take the helm of a dynamic ticket sales operation? The Macon Mayhem are seeking a highly motivated Vice President of Ticket Sales to drive significant revenue growth and elevate our fan experience.

Position Overview:
The Vice President of Ticket Sales will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing comprehensive ticket sales strategies across all categories, including season tickets, partial plans, group sales, and premium inventory. This leadership role will oversee the ticket sales department, focusing on maximizing revenue, building a high-performing team, and fostering strong relationships with our valued fans and partners.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to achieve and exceed all ticket revenue goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the ticket sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing and retention for all ticket products.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and refine sales tactics.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, game operations, and finance departments to create integrated campaigns and compelling offers.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and sales pipelines.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices in sales training, CRM utilization, and customer service to enhance fan loyalty.
  • Represent the Macon Mayhem at community events, networking functions, and industry conferences.

Essential Skills, Experience & Abilities:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in ticket sales within the sports or entertainment industry, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and leading high-performing sales teams to exceed revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, sales forecasting, and budget management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during the hockey season.
  • A passion for hockey and a deep understanding of the fan experience.
