The Knoxville Ice Bears are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Merchandise Graphic Designer to help bring our brand to life through unique, fan-focused apparel and retail products. We are looking for someone to work 10-15 hours per week. This role is responsible for designing merchandise collections, promotional items, and specialty products that capture the energy of Ice Bears hockey and connect with our passionate fan base. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design skills with an understanding of apparel decoration, current merchandise trends, and sports branding. If you're passionate about creating products that fans are excited to wear and collect, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Design graphics for t-shirts, hoodies, hats, accessories, and help plan future product categories
  • Help brainstorm graphic concepts, slogans, phrases, and collection ideas
  • Create artwork that aligns with our mission while feeling elevated, relevant, and wearable
  • Stay on top of design, fashion, and cultural trends
  • Collaborate closely with our team on upcoming launches and campaigns
  • Prepare production-ready files for print
  • Photograph all new products

Bonus Skills
  • Ecommerce or direct-to-consumer brand experience
  • Illustration skills
  • Creative direction, branding, or photography experience
  • Product development or merchandising experience
  • Ability to help plan seasonal collections, silhouettes, color palettes, and product assortments in addition to graphic design

What We're Looking For
  • Strong portfolio of apparel graphics, branding, or consumer products
  • Must be familiar with Adobe Cloud Suite
  • Excellent typography and layout skills
  • Ability to create simple, memorable designs with strong commercial appeal
  • A self-starter who enjoys contributing ideas, not just executing instructions
