Responsibilities:
  • The social media coordinator’s primary role will be responsible for planning, managing, and achieving the goals set by the Marksmen for their social media platforms. The role will include scheduling, posting, and interacting online with graphics, gifs, strong vocabulary and a positive demeanor.
  • This role will work diligently to identify social media goals, maintain a strong adherence to brand guidelines, and create a fun, family-friendly, fan-centered digital culture for fans.
  • Assist in the planning, management, and execution of the Marksmen marketing plan and strategy. These strategies include the ability to drive revenue via ticket and merchandise sales and the ability to continue conversations in the digital space.
  • Be proactive in establishing and maintaining Marksmen email campaigns with the oversight of team executives
  • Brainstorm and create various pieces of content for social media, our website, and Marksmen games, as well as ads for traditional/digital marketing, radio copy, etc
  • Assist with the ideation and creation of graphic items for the team’s home gameday production. These may include motion graphics, digital advertisements or videos.
  • Work with management in setting social media and digital marketing goals, and developing weekly reports to communicate the results
  • Will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Attendance Required during all Fayetteville Marksmen home games and other required organization or community events, activities or functions as required
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Team President

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training 
  • Solid knowledge of social media principles, concepts, strategies, and best practices
  • Proficient and experienced with adobe creative suite and graphic design
  • Ability to interact as a brand’s voice on social media, being entertaining and informative, and keep the fan base engaged across all social platforms.
  • Experience as a motivated self-starter, with creative ideas, and the ability to lead by example
  • A hard work ethic and mental attitude of success
  • Ability to set manageable goals and consistently hit them with the ability to continue an upward growth trajectory
  • Willingness to follow directions, learn, adapt in stressful situations, and not crack under pressure
  • Willing to accept the challenge and dedication required to grow an organization and a loyal fan base

Skill Sets:
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. 
  • Proficient in Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok. Working knowledge of email marketing platform preferred.
  • Working knowledge of a social media management suite.
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism and work within brand guidelines for the betterment of the team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
