Position Overview 
Team Teal is seeking to hire a Partnership Activation Supervisor for the San Jose Barracuda, the AHL affiliate of the Sharks. The Partnership Activation Supervisor will be responsible for generating revenue via corporate partnerships including signage, in game assets, community partnerships and premium seating while providing exceptional customer service to renew accounts year over year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Provide account support for partnerships, including but not limited to onboarding new partners, execution of multi-platform partnership programs and planning on-side executions.  
  • Build and maintain client and partnership relationships via meetings, phone calls, events philanthropy etc.    increasing satisfaction and retention 
  • Activate Partnership accounts by fulfilling contracted assets 
  • Maintain and track inventory on CRM and ACTIVATE 
  • Manage Barracuda Digideck and train all Barracuda personnel on creating new decks in Digideck 
  • Work closely with Marketing and Game Operations to coordinate and execute partner activation  
  • Meet established benchmarks for outreach via a variety of tactics like outbound phone calls, emails, text messages and face to face meetings  
  • Work closely with VP of Business Operations and Account Executive, Corporate Sales to ensure smooth transition for all new Barracuda Corporate Partners 
  • Responsible for creating and planning partnership events i.e. Charity Golf Tournament 
  • Responsible for renewal and upgrade of partnerships, implementing renewal cycle steps and meeting deadlines as instructed 
  • Oversee execution of the client assets and services to optimize client experience and maximize sales profitability  
  • Participate and collaborate as a team member through meetings and informal support to other team members and SSE staff, to maximize customer service, retention efforts, and sales performance 
  • Assist Account Executive, Corporate Partnerships in providing leads for new sales opportunities 
  • Perform game/event requirements as assigned 
  • Generate revenue for the Barracuda by selling new and renewing existing corporate partnerships 
  • Interact with other Sharks/Arena departments to provide a collaborative, client-oriented focus for all operations (for example, the Ticket Office) 
  • Responsible for handling the ordering of all Partner gifts 
  • Identify sales opportunities by conducting networking and ongoing 
  • Assist management with updating AHL Corporate sales numbers regularly 
  • Perform other tasks and projects as requested 

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional or educational experience. 
  • 2- 4 years of B2B sales experience 
  • Ability to use technology such as SponsorUnited, Nielsen, Scarborough and Sales Navigator 
  • Ability to activate sold partnerships from start to finish 
  • Self-starter with a passion for sales and customer service. 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, detail oriented, strong problem solving and decision-making abilities. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skill with ability to maintain collaborative working relationships. 
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Archtics ticketing system a plus. 

Physical Requirements 
  • Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time 
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person meetings 
  • Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation 
  • Ability to physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation 
  • May require travel to other company locations, and/or conferences and events within the Bay Area or in- or out-of-state locations
