Position Summary:
We are seeking an individual who can bring their creative vision and expertise to help us produce exceptional videos, imagery, and graphics for our franchise's products and programs. This role significantly contributes to the overall strategy and works with various departments to produce localized and original content for different distribution platforms. Reporting directly to the Senior Producer, Digital & Social, the ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, and creative, able to create top-notch content from start to finish with minimal oversight.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce and edit video content for Kraken digital and social channels, in-arena show and other miscellaneous events as it pertains to either partnered or game presentation productions.
- Work as a camera operator to capture footage of partnership activations, game presentation creative requests, b-roll, scenic footage, and more.
- Work alongside the in-house production team to ideate new and creative short/mid-form creative for partner applications and in-arena shows.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite to assemble, edit, process, color correct, format, and export video projects from start to finish.
- Actively seek out industry trends and new technology and techniques that will elevate and enhance our content on all channels.
- Use Kraken media asset management software (Curator Connect) to ingest, categorize and organize all footage.
- Perform tasks as needed – including but not limited to live production, shooting, sound recording, gripping, edit direction, music scoring, color correction, audio editing and mixing, graphic design / animation and copywriting.
- Able to work individually or as a team on projects.
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Game Night Responsibilities May Include:
- Capture video B-ROLL on game nights experience and highlights.
- Assisting with interviews and post-game media acquisition.
- Support game night staff with any Production and Entertainment Experience needs.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.
- Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- A strong interest in producing features with a desire to learn and grow the production team
- Highly creative and organized individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for storytelling, engaging audiences, working with others, and creative ideas for content growth.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior live broadcasts (television and/or radio) a plus.
- Graphic design and motion graphics experience a plus.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in video production experience including but not limited to camera operation, editing, writing, set lighting, and design.
- Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
- A critical thinker and optimist inspired by “what is possible” rather than “what has been done”.
- Highly creative, collaborative, and motivated.
- A people-person who can build trust and authentic relationships with team personnel.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and gamedays.
Total Rewards Package:
- Compensation:
- In accordance with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. Actual base pay will depend on employee’s experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Working Conditions:
- This role is based on-site in our Seattle office and requires work to be performed in person. However, we do value flexibility as the business will allow and offer occasional opportunities to work from home.
- Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
- Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
