What You Will Learn:
In this role you will learn how to produce and edit a feature from conception to completion.

  • Lead brainstorming meetings
  • Coordination of location and talent
  • Setting up equipment and necessary crew
  • Shooting live game action as well as feature content
  • Organizing and Logging footage
  • Edit using Adobe Premier and adhering Kraken branding guidelines
  • Mastering the final delivery and archiving process for each project

 

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Arrange / Coordinate video productions shoots alongside producers (locations, talent, crew)
  • Assisting on shoots and setting up lighting and audio equipment, camera operation
  • Assist with logging footage, verification and backup of footage/media
  • Run video projects from concept to completion in collaboration or independently with minimal creative direction from leadership 
  • Adapting to change with flexibility, and a positive attitude

 

Qualifications:

  • In an Advanced Degree/Masters program. 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Post Production processes
  • Should have some experience with broadcast journalism, video and/or audio production
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
  • Perform other duties as requested by staff to ensure all necessary tasks are performed in a proficient manner that adheres to the quality expected from the company.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.
  • Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.

 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.

 

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • In accordance with the Washington State Equal Pay and Opportunity Act,
    this internship pay rate is $21.50/hr.
  • Company-paid Orca transit.
