Position Summary:

This seasonal part-time position requires a driven, proactive, energetic, problem-solving, team-spirited individual to assist the Social Impact Department on game nights during the 25/26 season. Will support all Social Impact and One Roof Foundation activations and fundraising initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support game night activations and fundraising initiatives as assigned, including but not limited to:
    • 50/50 Raffle
    • Anchor Auctions
    • Mystery Pucks
    •  Kraken Unity Fund/Heroes of the Deep
    •  Tide Pool
    •  Social Media
    •  Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work all Seattle Kraken home games including evenings and weekends. Please see Kraken 25/26 home game schedule for specific dates and hours.
  • Must be available to arrive appx 2 to 3 hours before pucks drop and be available to stay until appx 1 hour after conclusion of game as needed (appx 264 hours a season).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including fans, donors, and volunteers.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working or volunteering with large scale community events.
  • Prior experience working or volunteering with nonprofit organizations.

 Total Rewards Package:

  • Compensation:
    • In accordance with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the starting pay rate for this position is $21 per hour. Actual pay will depend on employee’s experience and other job-related factors permitted by law

Working Conditions:

  • Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
