Promo Crew
The Professional Women’s Hockey League (“PWHL”) is seeking enthusiastic, passionate and detail-oriented individuals for the Promo Crew for the PWHL Vancouver team. This position reports to the Manager, Game Presentation and Fan Experience and will be responsible for executing game night duties, promotional activations and amplifying the fan experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting with the execution of in-game entertainment, in-stand promotions, concourse activations and on-ice promotional contesting elements
- Interacting with fans to enhance crowd excitement and overall experience
- Starting chants, contributing to arena entertainment and enthusiasm
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the PWHL Vancouver team’s schedule
- Must be able to work 10-13 homes games per the PWHL Vancouver team’s schedule
- Must be a team player with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Must exemplify outstanding time management and communication skills and a professional attitude
- Must have knowledge of and a passion for the PWHL
- Experience working live events
SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
- Candidate must be able to work on-site
COMPENSATION:
Hourly Range: The wage scale for this role is $20.00 CAD per hour.
