                                                                                                    Game Day DJ 

The Professional Women’s Hockey League (“PWHL”) is seeking enthusiastic, passionate and detail-oriented individuals to be a Game Day DJ for the PWHL Vancouver team. This position reports to the Manager, Game Presentation and Fan Experience and will be responsible for playing all in-house music, executing assigned game night duties and amplifying the fan experience through music. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all in-game music 
  • Must work collaboratively on headset to play music during stoppages, pregame, TV timeouts, intermissions and postgame


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:     
 

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the PWHL Vancouver team’s schedule
  • Must be able to work all 13 home games per the PWHL Vancouver team’s schedule 
  • Must be a team player with strong organizational and multitasking skills 
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Must exemplify outstanding time management and communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Must have knowledge of and a passion for the PWHL
  • Experience working as a live event DJ 
 

SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES: 

  • Ability to curate music to play to a crowd, read the crowds energy and interact with them through music
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
  • Candidate must be able to work on-site

 COMPENSATION:

Annual Salary:  The per game salary for this role is $200 CAD per game.
