The Professional Women’s Hockey League is seeking a passionate, dedicated and resilient individual for the role of Account Manager, Ticketing, Service & Activations for the PWHL Seattle team. This position reports to the PWHL Seattle team’s Director, Team Business Operations and will be responsible for selling tickets, activating game day experience packages and delivering championship level service to our PWHL Seattle team season ticket members and customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate revenue through full season, half season, and group ticket packages
- Prospect, identify customer needs, and drive ticket sales through a combination of outbound and inbound activity
- Welcome and provide exceptional service to groups on game days while developing lasting relationships with group event builders
- Lead group sales activations before, during, and/or after games, including ice rentals and game-day experiences for large groups
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key community members and organizations, including by attending local events and activities to represent the company
- Communicate clearly and consistently with fan experience leads to ensure smooth operations and positive experiences
- Ensure timely, clear and concise communications with season ticket members, group leaders, and prospects
- Efficiently lead targeted service campaigns including proactive touchpoint programs
- Plan and execute member benefits including events, exclusive item deliveries, and member recognition opportunities
- Respond promptly to member inquiries and provide assistance for ticket related issues
- Collaborate effectively across functional areas and work closely with external partners/agencies
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A post-secondary degree or diploma - business, sports management or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience developing sales and service relationships
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a desire to build a career in the sports industry
- A positive, team-first approach, incorporating integrity, accountability, professionalism and resilience
- Experience in ticket sales for a sports team
- Strong communicator, able to talk/share internally and externally about the team and its connection to the community
- Ability to listen, understand, and communicate effectively
- Able to take direction and show initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and community-building skills
- Available to work all home games in market including evenings and weekends
SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships
- An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
- Proficiency in basic software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - required
- Previous experience with Salesforce, Ticketmaster/Archtics and Paciolan - preferred
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team
- A self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A positive, enthusiastic, team-first attitude incorporating integrity and discretion
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
- Candidate must be able to work on-site
COMPENSATION:
Hourly Range: The wage scale for this role is $20 - $24 USD per hour.
Position includes participation in all welfare, perquisites, fringe benefit, insurance, retirement and other benefit plans, practices, policies and programs, made available by the league as may be in effect from time to time.
