Position Summary
The Partnership Sales Operations Lead will support the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring efficient execution across the deal lifecycle. This role will be responsible for managing deal documentation, supporting contract tracking, and assisting with reporting and research. Additional support will include data gathering, deck creation, and limited outreach efforts and account management. This position will focus on improving team efficiency and enabling revenue growth. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities 
  • Proactively research and identify new league and team partnership categories and prospects. 
  • Analyze and interpret data to uncover insights, and translate findings into clear, compelling narratives that support sales strategy, client presentations, and decision-making. 
  • Develop and customize compelling sales presentations and proposals for clients and agencies. 
  • Support the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through negotiation and execution, ensuring a seamless and professional partner experience. 
  • Partner closely with the Partnership Activation team to ensure all contractual elements are fulfilled at a high level and partner expectations are exceeded. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, events, and operations teams to align partnership assets and maximize value delivery. 
  • Support the sales team to be sure they are tracking all sales activity, communications, proposals, and contracts within the PWHL’s CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and reporting consistency. 
  • Provide weekly updates, forecasts, and performance reports to the VP, Partnership Sales and broader sales team. 
  • Represent the PWHL and its teams with professionalism, credibility, and enthusiasm in all internal and external interactions. 
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as business needs dictate. 
  • Participate in limited travel, as required. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications 
  • Minimum of 3 years of sponsorship or partnership management experience within sports, entertainment, or a related industry. 
  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). 
  • Proven ability to create high-quality sponsorship presentations 
  • Experience with design tools such as Canva 
  • Passion for women’s hockey and/or women’s professional sports. 
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in their country of residence(United States or Canada) on a full-time basis. The PWHL does not provide visa or work permit sponsorship for this role. 

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Post-secondary or Master’s degree in Sports Business, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Experience selling integrated, multi-platform partnerships at the league or team level.

Flexibility & Travel 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required.
