Graphic Designer (Contractor)
The Professional Women’s Hockey League is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our Creative Team as a Graphic Designer. In this role, you will serve as the primary designer supporting the New York Sirens, creating visual assets across all platforms to elevate the team’s brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of graphic design principles and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Working closely with the Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer, you will help deliver high-quality creative content for both team and league channels. The estimated start date is November 3, 2025, with the end date being July 31, 2026 (the “Term”).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design deliverables for the New York Sirens for all digital platforms including website, mobile sites, and social media in order to support game and event coverage, digital marketing, content, sales efforts, and build brand and fan engagement
- Execution of New York Sirens collateral as assigned (including tickets sales materials, posters, billboards, signage, marketing campaigns, logos, sponsorship co-branded promotion, community programs, print ads, web ads/promos, broadcast/arena, event materials, retail display etc.)
- Design co-branded promotional and collateral materials for team partners
- Create production files that reflect the most effective file-building methods
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Graphic Design, Illustration, Art Media and/or Digital Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of design experience (sports preferred)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365 programs

COMPENSATION:
Hourly Range: The wage scale for this role is $ 35.00 USD/$ 42.00 CAD per hour. This position will be an 8-month contract with 30 hours per week for the duration of the Term. No benefit package is included.
