                                                                                    Game Day Web Coordinator
 
The Professional Women’s Hockey League (“PWHL”) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional for the role of Game Day Web Coordinator to join our Marketing Department. This position reports to the Digital Products Specialist and Director of Content, and will maintain the PWHL websites during critical game day and game night hours through the 2025-26 PWHL season (November 3, 2025 – May 31, 2026).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate within Contentstack content management system (CMS)to maintain and monitor PWHL webpages leading up to, during, and after PWHL games
  • Organize timing of gameday modules including ticket links, schedules, broadcast information, and live streams
  • Manage multiple pages at once - any given game night will require updates to the league page and between two (2)- four (4) team pages
  • Monitor site performance to ensure publishing happens on time and to flag any issues
  • Collaborate with the digital products team on user experience, site navigation, and visual presentation
  • Identify content opportunities as they come up - milestone games, viral highlights, social media posts to amplify, etc.
  • Monitor and track Google Analytics real time data for insights into game night web traffic
  • Other duties as assigned
 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:      

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in marketing, journalism, sport management or similar
  • Prior experience using a website CMS, including pages, articles, and video content
  • Experience with Contentstack preferred
  • Experience within sports preferred
  • Experience with Google Analytics GA4 is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with sports industry practices, such as relevant game night information and common content opportunities
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as the PWHL game schedule requires - most games are at 7:00 PM ET or later 

SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple web page publishing timelines at once
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team environment 
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills 
  • Ability to create and execute media routines repeatedly throughout the season
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, unpredictable events that may occur during a night of PWHL action


COMPENSATION:

Hourly Range:  The wage scale for this role is $ 25-30 USD/ $30-36 CAD per hour.


Position includes participation in all welfare, perquisites, fringe benefit, insurance, retirement and other benefit plans, practices, policies and programs, made available by the league as may be in effect from time to time.
