Video Production Manager
- Ideate, produce, post-produce, and deliver video content for the team, from concept development to final delivery.
- Produce, shoot, and edit video content including video features, sizzles, highlight packages, interviews, and other on-demand content optimized for, but not limited to, broadcast, social media, website, app, and in-arena video boards and platforms.
- Cover and capture events related to the team as requested: games, practices, off-ice training, community appearances, and other events where needed.
- Lead game day event coverage, including all game action, fan experience, partner activations, pre-game and post-game activities, and edit game content and highlights on-site during all home and away games as needed.
- Produce engaging video content that reflects the brand and adheres to all established brand standards.
- Develop and adapt video content tailored to each platform, ensuring optimal performance and audience engagement.
- Coordinate video shoots and interviews with players, team leadership, and key stakeholders to support storytelling initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate video content into broader team and league initiatives and campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Support the execution of Media Day.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production and storytelling, and apply relevant insights to enhance our creative processes.
- Manage the timely uploading, logging, and archiving of video content and overall digital asset management.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in video production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in producing, shooting, and editing compelling visual content.
- Minimum of 2 years of shooting and editing experience on both short-form and long-form sports-related projects for digital platforms.
- Expertise with professional camera equipment (Sony preferred).
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, audio, and post-production techniques.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficient with computers and MS Office programs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
- Must be available to work at team training camp beginning in mid-November.
- This position is based in the United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The PWHL does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
