Position Summary
Join the PWHL Impact Team and become the face of women's professional hockey in your community! We're looking for passionate, high-energy ambassadors who can skate, engage with fans, and help grow the game at camps, clinics, and community events. This part-time, event-based role offers flexible scheduling around evenings, weekends, and holidays when hockey happens.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
·       Serve as a visible, energetic ambassador for the PWHL at camps, clinics, and community events
·       Engage with fans of all ages in a positive, professional, and inclusive manner
·       Participate in on-ice or skating-based activations, demonstrations, and programming
·       Distribute promotional materials and merchandise to build awareness and excitement
·       Assist with event set-up, tear down, and crowd engagement activities
·       Promote team and league initiatives through authentic, enthusiastic representation
·       Create memorable fan experiences that grow the sport of women's hockey

Required Qualifications
·       Strong skating ability with on-ice experience (this is an on-ice role)
·       Current Hockey Canada or USA Hockey coaching certification
·       Comfortable engaging with the public in high-energy, busy environments
·       Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
·       Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on an event-based schedule

Preferred Qualifications
·       Hockey coaching experience or background working with youth programs
·       Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple commitments
·       Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse audiences
·       Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative
·       Willingness and ability to travel regionally or internationally for select events

Flexibility & Travel
This is a part-time, event-based position requiring availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Occasional regional or international travel may be required for special events.

Compensation
Compensation starts at $25/hour CAD and will vary depending on role requirements (i.e. helper or lead coach).
